Shaitano Ki Toli

Dear friends read this hindi IJC (#378) Phantom story. The speciality of this story is that first time Lee Falk used suspense in a Phantom's story (is my knowledge correct?). Enjoy this comic and post your valuable comments.

  3. I always love this story , really a suspense was created about "Mob"s boss .
All basic information about Lee Falk stories you may get from deepwoods.org .

There were some more stories like " lady from no where ", "spy gang "Governor & Suzzie" etc from Lee Falf where suspense was there about real boss / culprit .
In new stories, Suspense ia a part of stories which gives added pleasure to read these stories.
Thanks a making Hindi scanned comics more on web . Wonder why others are not coming forward to join hands , anyway , it is their personal choice , time , passion etc.

    1. This story is so good. Thanks Ajay I will check information from deepwoods.org before posting.
In this story it is very surprising that the boss was a very weak and untargeted person.
I think most of peoples having good IJCs collection are over 40 years of age and living in small cities. They don't know about IJCs blogs and are not very familier and aware to the use of computer and internet that's why they are not coming forward. But I'll continue my efforts.

  4. Thanks a ton, for this Hindi Vetal comic.
Wonderful story plot and the progress of the story is excellent--- gripping till the end.Suspense is immense.
one of my favorite Phantom stories. Though I did not like the cover and I feel it would be wonderful had the cover been painted by B. Govind or anybody like him.

    1. You are welcome dear. B. Govind and Shehab have different style to art. I'll give more points to B. Govind but I also likes the artwork of Mr. Shehab.

  6. When I had sent the English version of this comic to Prabhat, I had made a mention of how Shehab had this particular habit of making the covers more "comical". One other thing is that he drew scenes that were not there in the story. But he had his own way while Govind Brahmania had his own style. It would be like comparing apples and oranges or Gandhi and Ambedkar.

  8. A very nice story, thanks Gaurav!Yes,it's rare but sometime there was suspense till the end in Phantom's adventures.
About the cover art,Shehab definetly spoiled it with his cartoony style, except a few ones like 'The Infuriated Ghost'(#355).Yes, there is NO doubt about his standard, creator of most lovable Chimpoo series, but he was a cartoonist while Govind.B was a more realistic artist.Shehab was more like Pran's genre of Diamond's Chacha Chaudhary fame.
So,ideally ToI should had picked some one for cover-art of Indrajal Comics - an adventure series with realistic art - in Mr.Govind's genre, but that was not easy I guess.

    1. Welcome Hojo. When I first time read this comic I was surprised about real boss. I think both of artists were great but Govind Brahmania had own style which was unique. Latter, Diamond comics published Phantom and Mandrake series but the cover art was not impressive.
